Small diesel hatch, Golf size, with a decent auto / dsg box and sub 10k price tag.
Current contenders are the Golf and Leon, but not a fan of the Octy (ready for the comments from the Skoda fan boys :P)

leon sport 140bhp DSG should be able to get one for well under 10k and should have elec folding mirror and cruise as standard, nice bucketty seats and MFSW no paddles for the DSG unfortunately but sure an FR wheel could sort that out!
I used to have one and was lovely car to bomb everywhere in and plenty of MPG. :happy2:

I don't know what any of these are like but there are some with a moderate mileage count on autotrader:
Toyota Yaris/Auris
Merc A-class
Citroen C4
Kia and Hyundai models
Ford Focus
TBH I'd stick with VW personally.

Ridgeway Oxford have a Golf GT Sport 2litre DSG 5dr with 50k for £10k.
Has highline and MFSW, parking sensors (no doubt you'd fit an RNS510 and RVC!), with some wierd phone prep type thing.

Buy my car ;) bit more than 10 though :(
-
^^^ Wrong gearbox :P
