There's a candy white 2010 GT TDI for sale at an independat dealer near me and it's going for 17995.
Got me wondering about chopping in the ED30 so I went on VW's site to price one up with all the spec that I wanted-It was pretty close to that price!

I love my golf. Pound for pound its pretty close to my perfect car but for £35,000 you can get cars that look like they are worth something. Take that round the block a few times and everyone will think you're driving a £15k car.

Vw are taking the piss as is that dealer. Who in their right mind would shell out £35,000 on a golf?

Snot like it's a R or anything special.

Im going to give the dealer a call see if i can haggle some money off....................... lol do you think they will drop 10 - 15 grand?  :signLOL:

tell them you own a black one with 1000 miles more on the clock and ask what the trade in price will be  :laugh:

That price is unreal, sure destroys the idea that VW's hold their value!
