Title: stone chips

just a quicki
if i fill in and then want to smooth them down a little with ultr fine wet and dry... what the best thing to hand buff the whole area afterwards please

Autoglym SRP is pretty good for this

If you have access to a DA, a machine polished finish will be far superior.

 i have that.
 i also have poorboys ssr1 swirl remover....if thats any better
 and an old tube of red t cut if that will get job done lol- (my dad old car was red)

will be done by hand- havent got a machine or the nerve to trial one out yet

SSR1 carefully applied by hand should work :)

Just be sure to give it a good coat of sealant/wax after you are finished

And to use plenty of soapy water with the wet'n'dry

If you can avoid wet-sanding, I would apply several very thing layers of touch-up to the chip over a week or so, if you are careful no wet-sanding or polishing will be required.

I tried that approach and you still end up with the visible 'blob'...but i guess its each to their own  :happy2:

It does try your patience! I've got some to do on mine and will try and post some before/afters.
