Since doing a recent track day my ITG magonex has gotten considerably louder. Before it used to just rumble a bit now it sounds like a pipe is off. there is no loss of performance just a constant sucking now.
Is this a possible fault somewhere or a characteristic. :happy2:

Is the filter secure TC?

It should be, but i will check at the weekend, as mentioned it is performing ok. :happy2:

Take it all off and reassemble it and check all the pipes

If its too loud for you, at a push I might be up for doing a swap for my stock intake! :signLOL:

TC how is the idle? especially at start and when you come to a rest after a good run? on mine (with ITG) the vacumn pipe came off the brake assit unit, changed the noise (you could hear air being sucked in) the give away was the idle change though as it was leaking air into the inlet bypassing the ITG, other thoughts are knackered DV which is dumping air into the intake in a different way, when my PCV valve went oil built up in my DV and this changed the sound, just a few thoughts..........
