Title: ultimate newbie question. k03, k04
Post by: roderzz on March 23, 2011, 08:47:46 am: well some of you may laugh but i gotta find out someway ha. i got a 2006 gti and was just wondering really how do i tell if its got a k03 or k04 turbo. using my common sense im guessing k04 are bigger so imagine iv got a k03??

Post by: Richn83 on March 23, 2011, 08:53:38 am: Its rather simple the 200ps 2.0TFSI engine uses the K03 turbo. The 230 and above 2.0TFSI engines in the ED30 and Pirelli and also in the S3 and Cupra's are the larger K04 turbo.

I was told that 78.6% of statistics are made up on the spot :P
