Hi Guys!
I've just gone stage 2+ on my ED30.. Was just wondering if I'd be ok to run an S3 Intercooler on there and, would it cope well with the temperatures the Car will be providing? Or, shall I just save and spend the extra on a Twintercooler or a THS?
Cheers iin advance :happy2:,
Phil

IMO go for the twintercooler as you can easily remove it when putting the car back to stock at selling time.
Both the S3 and THS are labour intensive to install and remove.

Cheers, Bacillus!
That's what I was thinking with regards to doing it! Not bothered about cost as I won't pay to get it done! it's just that I can get the S3 intercooler cheap from work and, just wanted to know would the S3 cooler do the job?

S3 cooler would be a good first step up from the oem IC but won't be as efficient as the twintercooler + oem IC.
-
S3 intercooler = Fit and forget
Forge = worthwhile to remove to reclaim some mod money, so probably more cost effective in the long run with the added plus of better performance and added subtle looks if your into it.

Look in the group buy section, bernhard was trying to srart up a group buy

Seen it Dave! Hopefully my Clutch comes and, then I'll be able to get the Twintercooler!!

got for both but you will need s3 hoses if you go for the oem audi cooler. i have some if you so require?

Actually if you carefully remove the metal ends of the oem IC hoses at the IC side, they will be a perfect fit with the S3 IC. All you'll need extra are two jubilee clips.
