I have a golf gt (05) and i am in the process of gettin new wheels i would like 19s but want to lower it by at least 30mm will i get any rubbing or would i better play it safe an go for 18s
-
I had the same question a while back...
Its not so much the size of the wheel thats the issue as 19's on a 35 profile tyre are pretty much the same rolling radius as 18's on 40 profile tyre.
Its the width and offset that are the deciding factors, aswell as the width of tyre fitted.

Sure is on kw v1

Shouldn't make any difference as long as you don't change the width of rim or tyre unless you go for a massive drop.
As was said the rolling radius on a 19 with 35s is close to the same by a tiny bit.
