what are you guys getting MPG wise with your edition 30s ? both about the doors and on long runs ? and the differance a remap made to fuel consumption !
Edition 30s only please :happy2:
-
Hi mate, im getting between 28-32 depends where im commuting from! If im in town 19-23
Got the cheapest ever tank in my edition 30 ownership yesterday was only £55......Had a vpower voucher! :signLOL:
I try desperately not to look before its warmed up and i get to the motorway lol!
-
About the same pre and post remap (stage 1).
Driving during rush hour can get me 18 - 24mpg.
Driving during say after rush hour at night, can get 30+mpg.
Motorway driving - not driven long enough distances to achieve the 40mpg I could get pre-remap.
-
about 25-27 mpg, mostly urban, not noticed any difference after remap unless you boot it everywhere
-
on Revo stage 2+ i get 30mpg on a good run
-
Cheers Guys !

-
I suppose i get about 30 on average. Highest I've seen is 35 and lowest 11.
-
Got 38.6 mpg on the way home the other night. Was a 20 min drive from cold. In traffic I get 18-25. Cold engine I usually get about 10 in traffic.
-
25 average on 1400 mlies
Lowest is about 13 to work in really heavy traffic. Highest was 33
-
28-32 on the daily commute. I recently did a 60 mile drive each way mainly motorway. 70mph with the cruise on gave 37mpg. 65mph on the return, again with cruise, gave 41mpg. It was a boring drive but didn't wanna stop for fuel lol
-
Lowest was 8.7mpg at the Nurburgring, highest 38mpg on a run up to the Lakes (both mapped)
-
Wish I could see 38 mpg :signLOL:

Wish I could see 38 mpg :signLOL:
You ought to see what I get out of the Partridgemobile....39.2mpg average on a run down to Stratford-on-Avon. and that's a 1700kg 2.5 V6 Auto. :surprised:
You must be doing something wrong Alex
-
Wish I could see 38 mpg :signLOL:
To get 38 you must have to not so much as even look at the accelerator! (not sure that sentence makes sense but you get my drift)
-
I think its that lead foot I bought...Must try and find the receipt and return it for a refund :signLOL:
I get 95 when i havent got my foot on the pedal
-
Currently doing on ed30 remap, town commute 27-29mpg..
Motorways doing 70mph i see 33-35mpg
Currently purchasing a new car (Town runner) to help fuel efficiency :signLOL:
-
Youll get probs get 60MPG in that Steve :signLOL:
-

Problem is, that its very so addictive to boot these cars at every opportunity to make the exhaust fart! :booty:
-
Indeed. I just like hearing the turbo spool up :signLOL: The want for exhaust noise will be next weeks news

Remap it Rich, and you can really Fart louder :signLOL:
-
Excellent! (just discovered yesterday that if you drop the rear windows you can hear it more  )

Have you a different exhaust from stock rich?
-
No... I've still got the stock pipe on. :sad1:
-
I probably average 28-30mpg daily in mine, if im playing more around 18mpg. I have had 37mpg a few times but they were the most boring drives of my life! Those are all Stg 2+ figures.
-
Get 38mpg on way to work normally, 34 on way home, but MPG 2 is stating 32.2mpg...
-
30mpg on avaerage which comes from 24-26mpg round town and up to about 32mpg on the motorway. I have seen 41mpg but that was a one off when I was running on fumes and was driving as economically as I could to get to the next petrol station!
-
Its interesting how we all have such varied MPGs for the same cars!
-
I think its just driving style more than anything Alex! Im sure you can get very credible MPG out of these, but if thats what you want you bought the wrong car anyway!
I went out in mine twice yesterday and got 14.3MPG.... but i had fun on the way!
-
I think you are probably right Rich
These cars are meant to be driven like sports cars, so those of use that have a lead foot pay the price in a low MPG :signLOL:
-
I think its just driving style more than anything Alex!
And the type of journeys we all do.
-
Aye. Motorway will in most cases yield a higher MPG. I know the guy who used to own mine used to go from Yeovil to Newbury multiple times a week and got 35-37 lol! Something I dream of seeing.
-
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Certainly better than the BM, Ive still got 90% of my mods in the hut ! Im considdering a return to the MK5

And in the fastest colour too
-
mate of mine had 26!
-
at 70 on a motorway I'll never see above 32mpg
-
Definitely thirsty when cold so i don't boot it. Had a tuning remap done with piper sports cat and full stainless exhaust.
Thought i'd get better mpg with a remap but unfortunately not, seems very heavy, wonder if this should be the case
-
Best I can get is 33mpg doing around 50-60mpg for a 25min drive to work...get around 290-320from a full tank
-
30MPG on a decent run.. and thats not trying to get good MPG. If you want to I'm sure you can get close to 40 but you will have to be very carful with the accelerator :happy2:
-
Have seen 43.6mpg on a run to work... (trip1)
On average i see 30-34mpg depending on how much i play... 30 if i play lots, 34 if i don't... This on a stage 2 car.
-
Thats good Dom,
Standard form i got 38mpg to work at 60-70mph.
I now get 32mpg to work stage2+ at 60-70mph.

those figures sound good, should i be getting higher mpg on stage 1 performance tune, cause i sure am not? And thats with normal driving conditions, used to get good mpg before the remap and from the research done i thought better fuel eco after remap.
Any suggestions?

I seem to get better motorway mpg (41 ish) when I cruise at 80mph, on the speedo which turns out to be about 73mph on the gps

I reckon all your journeys must be downhill !
