S3 off the road?

Sorned :sad1:
Due to some damage to the wheel (knocked off camber i think) the tyre has worn out on the outer edge meaning an MOT fail. So i sorned it at the end of January as the insurance were to fix it. They phoned last week to say it is improbable the car was moved without the keys; i told them its not impossible as they managed it! Anyway they said no so im now going to complaints. Going to ring the sales guy to see if he can provide a statement that he sold it with only one set of keys (all that i received) which could resolve the issue as it removes any doubt they can use to get out of it! Been waiting 8 months for a no

To anyone with Tesco insurance; get out....get out now!!!!
I hate Tesco so much from this i will be leaving the company at the end of may. Fed up with their greedy monopolization, couldnt care less about their customers, once they have spent their money they drop them :angry015:

Good to see you back on here Jules...thought this was all sorted out by now..bloody insurane companys
-
Cheers mate. Its been a nightmare. If had just lied and said it was vandalized it would be fixed which is the worst part. Ive been a victim of crime; police were useless, then my insurance company, who should be there to protect you in these circumstances, have treated me like scum.
What is it they say; nice guys finish last
On the plus side i have been learning some coding, C#, to go into IT contracting with hope of a permanent position at some point in the future.

Good to see you back mate and I know what it's like, I have been waiting over a year now for my claim from an uninsured driver hit me but at the time the insurance co said he had cover so I had the car fixed and a few weeks after car was fixed and I had paid for the work doing it turned out he was uninsured :fighting: it just takes a few months for the system to be updated :fighting: . So quick to take my money but over a year to try get it back :fighting:

Sucks mate.
I might just get myself some tyres to get it on the road. Looking at some goodyear eagle F1 assymetrics, as they have good reviews and are not too expensive.I need a service but i have the next two free and it should fly through the MOT. Ive priced up parts if it comes to the worst and it wont be too bad but i would rather not spend anything as im taking a huge leap leaving my well paid job to pursue another career!
Im just glad its relatively minor cosmetic damage. If they do fix it i will have a new front bumper, new wings, door skins, left door sill and a full respray to make sure the colour matches.
