Title: D's Gti DSG
Post by: darkside on April 04, 2011, 06:52:30 pm
I picked up my new daily a couple of weeks ago now, and loving it.

Some of you may also know my previous car;

This was it in 2009 when it was also featured in Fast Car

Then in 2010 it look like this;

Now I am rocking a MK5 Gti that I recently purchased from Bondy at Total Vag

Been looking out for you to start a build thread. Your Civic look good. What plans you got for the GTI? Look forward to see what you do to it. Keep the updates coming.

Decided to wrap the front grille and badge in black vinyl until I can get the car into the body shop to have the grille smoothed and painted

Very nice car mate, not sure on the colour of the new rims but each to their own. Is that the BSH true seal? How do you rate it as a friend of mine was contemplating one of these

Wheels look a bit too gold in that pic, will get some more pics soon

It is on FK Silverline coilovers

I have nothing else to compare the BSH to apart from the stock intake, and it is a fantastic improvement over the oem unit

Thanks for the comments  :happy2:

What is the ride quality like with these on? Is it rock solid? Cheers

They are firm yes but not stupidly hard. Handles better now with these than it did with the H&R springs

However maybe taking them off to go with air but will see  :wink:
