Title: Finally Hello

As above guys I'm finally saying hello from Northern Ireland. I've been browsing daily for well over a year now and found the site to be excellent for reading , pics and general info. I don't even have to ask questions lol as so many ask the same things I need to know. I'm currently on edition30 number three lol a black magic June 08 model after previously having an 08 tornado red selling it to buy an06 sti impreza , sold it a year later and bought an 07 tornado red ed30 again sold it for an 07 sti impreza and ended up in the current one. I love the edition 30,s but struggle a bit with the traction issues especially when mapped. I've had two different maps and ended up back at standard as I think it's so much more drivable especially in the wet. Standard the car was rolling roaded at 245 hp 265 lbft so it's no slouch. Look forward to some discussion in the future. Steve.

Hi and welcome.

Traction is never going to be fantastic in the wet - for that you need Haldex, like in an R32  :evilgrin:
Otherwise have a look at some decent tyres.

Oh, and remember to start a thread in the Members' Rides section and post some pics!  :happy2:

Great choice you made returning, the Edition 30 is such a good all rounder, you don't realise how good it is, until you move onto something else.

look forward to hearing some of your thoughts in future.
