Title: Ipod charging when ignotion off!!!

Hope some you knowledgeable fellows can help.

I've installed (with a lot of help from you fellows) an mfd2 (bought on these forums) :smiley: and an xcarlink.

The xcarlink connects into the quadlock and there's a ground cable, which ive attached to the screw coning out of the back of the mfd2.

I've switched the stereo off and removed the keys, but the nano is still charging! Is this normal and should I be worrying about it?

It will stay charging until the MFD2 shuts down which is not as soon as you switch the car off, the MFD2 will usually run on for around 10 minutes.

It will also switch back on when you unlock the car so will start charging your ipod again if its in the holder.

Well chuffed with it thanks. It's in excellent condition.

I've now hooked up my iPod nano & ordered a set of the latest maps. This should last me a couple of years until the rns-510 becomes more affordable.
