just thought i would post a topic so see what everyones car history is and how their styles have changed as youv grew older lol i guess i will start off with mines.....
first car peugeot 106 1litre lol still cost me 1500 to insure even tho the car was only 900!
renault clio 51 plate 1.2 litre
peugeot 206 1.4 with lots of chavvy mods lol
peugeot 206 gti with a million subtle mods
then after this i realised french cars were sh*te! so decided to go german and havent looked bak ever since
seat ibiza cupra
audi a3 sport 2.0 tdi...didnt enjoy the black suit coming out the back of the car and missed the noise of a petrol engine!

My gti is only my second car but I started off driving my dads defender, then I got a citroen c4 coupe vts then my gti. Not a great history!

Scorpio Cosworth (was given this by my grandad :grin: 150mph lazy boy armchair)
Audi coupe 2.6EV6 (cost me the world to run, as all the bushes started failing, and the downpipe needed replacing)
Focus ST (sold after 6 months but loved it)
Mini Cooper S Clubman (awesome car)
Mk2 Octavia vRS (my favourite car ive had yet)
Mk2 Fabia vRS (great little car, looks like a golf cart)
Alot of other sh!tters could have been included but no one would be interested in them. im a big ford fan. the octavia was my favourite car ive had once it was fully modified, the St200 mondeo was a close second.

MK3 Astra 1.4 Merit (only had it a few weeks but served me well)
MK1 Saxo 1.4 SX (Decent car , straight through exhaust , few subtle mods, bought a white VTR for spares and the kit and interior etc went on it , crankshaft later developed a wobble and stopped one day at a roundabout never to run again :scared:)
MK6 Fiesta 1.4 ( Liked this one , spend a good bit on mods , traded in for the next car on this list)
MK5 Golf GT TDI (Best car i've owned and how i found this site , few mods done , later sold as i was starting college again)
MK3 Mondeo Ghia X 2.0 ( Decent enough car , had the works being one of the top of the range on the prefacelift)
MK1 Focus Zetec ESP 2.0 (Up there with my golf if i'm honest , i loved it and would easily have another)
MK4 Golf 1.6 ( Keek :signLOL:)
Now have a MK1 Octavia vRS ( Was looking for another focus , but saw this for sale where i've bought a few cars , had a test drive and bought it , may have this longer than i've had my others :grin:)

another mondeo abuser, i like it. Loved all my mondeos. Almost bought an St220 after selling the octavia. was abit to muted though, and felty dead after the octavia. got to used the low down torque of a turbo car.
Always wanted a Accord Type R as well

the noise and grip no doubt, it sounded ace with the exhaust

I started my car collection off when my cousin gave me his black Mk3 Escort RS Turbo lookalike. Needed some work and a respray. Next few were Mk 2 Escorts bought from the scrapyard and restored ( raiding my dad's garage for RS bits). I then moved on to more modern machines...
1. Black Mk3 Escort RS Turbo lookalike
2. Orange Mk2 Escort RS Mexico replica (still miss this car! X x )
3. White BMW E30 323I
4. White Mk2 Escort Harrier (Super rare model. Unlike VW, it WAS limited to 1500 cars)
5. Red BMW E30 318is (another rare model. Loved it and never should have sold it :(
6. Blue BMW E36 323i Motorsport convertible
7. Blue VW Mk4 GTI PD (saved me pennies and started my love affair with VW)
8. Red VW Mk5 GTI ( a revelation! Best car I've ever had... until some twat wrote it off )
9. Red VW MK5 GTI Edition 30 (pick it up at the end of the week and hopefully my forever car!)

Of all the cars I have had ... and there are too many listed previously ... the Edition 30 is the one I wish I still had !! Enjoy it ... there is nothing quite like it about ... but make sure you remap it - it deserves it :)

Noticed you had a Renault GT Turbo. Funnily enough, I saw a mint series 1 of these a couple of days ago. It was ky cousins next car after he gave me his escort. He kept blowing the turbo every other week lol. Remember it being a seriously rapid car, even though it was only a 1.4 :happy2:
