Title: TFSI Back Box Issues......!
Post by: NeroDiablo on April 09, 2011, 11:17:32 pm
I'm sorry first of all if this is a stupid question and such a backward one at that!

Could I fit a Golf TDi back box to my GTi? Literally to cut and weld just the back box itself? Physical size wise I think it's the same but I'm more concerned about the pressure and whether it would cause any problems.

The quick way to describe in what I am doing is new lower section back bumper (which I do not wish to cut) and to have the downward facing tail pipes from the TDi. The obvious way to do it would be Powerflow, but I want to retain the OEM noise (ish).

I already have the rear section so any help would be MOST appreciated.
