Title: Window Tints

Hi, can anyone recommend a decent place to get my rear windows tinted in the Newport/Cardiff area of South Wales?

Also has anyone got any idea of the average cost for this to be done?

i just got a quote for £130 in Bristol, 3dr, just covering the back 3 windows.............

have you decided what kind of tint your looking for?

speaking of window tints i just got done for mine about half an hour ago!

yup! apparently they should let 70% light through, mine let 34% through  :chicken:

the copper was stupid enough to tell me they have no record of how many times ive been stopped though so im not gonna take them off, think ill just budget for 1 ticket a year as ive had my car 12 months and plead ignorance every time!  :P

They can actually take the vehicle off the road and force it to have an MOT before its roadworthy again, so to be fair, id take them off!

Alternatively they will allow you to continue with your journey if you remove the tints there and then, IMHO you should comply with the law. All it needs is for you to be involved in an accident, heaven forbid. If you vehicle is scrutinised and tinits are found to be illegal you could have issues.

Do the sensible thing chap.... They will pull you over and go to town on you. Its not worth it.

Would you ever forgive yourself if you knocked someone over because you didnt see them quick enough??

That must be like driving with Sunglasses on at night :stupid:
