Title: forge twintake or s3 intercooler ??????
Post by: gazon69 on April 11, 2011, 01:52:02 pm: hi folks. does anyone have Any idea on which intercooler is the most efficient, is it the s3 one or is it the forge twintake. I have been offered a forge twintake from an ed30 for £200 but as my golf only runs a k03 will this still fit also. cheers for any info

i need to blank off the DV outlet as I bought Aaron's cai from his ko3, did not realise ko4 was different. so do i use a universal "blanker" and if so where would be the best place to get hold of one?

So its a forge twintercooler, coming off a ED 30. If so then fitting is easy all you need are the pipes if it doesn't come with them. Also thats a great price make sure it's not a chinese copy. :happy2:

so which hybrid turbo internals is/was the car running? that should have made it one of the quickest mk 5's in the country yes?

Post by: gazon69 on April 12, 2011, 06:00:48 pm: I don't know buddy all I know it was running a hybrid and it was damn fast. it's one of the mechanics down at statller in Sheffield. I've just taken my gti down there for mapping and it's just made 285bhp and 330ftlb of torque. to say I was pleased was an understatement. steve, the guy who mapped it and owns statller said it's the quickest k03 car he's has so like I said I was chuffed to bits.

Post by: gazon69 on April 15, 2011, 05:44:47 pm: I like it alot pal. it's right up there with the custom codes and revo's. I've had custom code, revo, jabba sport maps, but I can honestly say this is one of the best, and I can also have it switchable which is a nice thing to have.
