   Stock car, less than a 1000 miles :surprised: Stage 1 and these will be purely bonkers!!! :jumping:
(Pinched from VAGOC)

I hope that was taken on a private road  lol
-
No idea mate.. It wasn't me though this time.. :signLOL: Wish it was though, I need one in my life..
-
Incredible. stage 2+ is going to be bonkers, your internal organs will be left behind.
-
DSG 7 box is proving problematic though............

It sounds like a helecopter when its on the lanch control limiter! :signLOL:
WANT!

I'm not so sure that car is Stock.
0-100 mph time is 11.1 secs standard and that was hitting 100 in around 9 secs working off the on screen timing.
Still bloody quick though :driver:
-
Owner reckons it is 100% stock.
Can only take him at his word.
-
The evo figures which is 0-100 in 11.1 is a manual box.
-
I doubt S-Tronic would knock 2 Secs off the time.
I'm not knocking it though as I said it's still bloody quick and if the owner says it's stock then as you say we can only take him at his word.

I would be surprised if it did too was just posting that the 11.1 time ive seen was from evo and a manual box, they also made comment of issues with the syncro mesh crashing with the quick shifts.
-
I couldn't find an S-Tronic specific one (well not until tuned) but another way to look at it is 0-62mph times
Manual TT-RS = 4.5 secs
S-Tronic TT-RS = 4.3 secs
So if that was the case in the space of 38mph the S-Tronic gains 1.8secs :surprised:
-
might be on a downwards slope!!
-
Lol that would be one way of massaging times.
-
If the quicker shifting was going to make up time it would be in the lower gears so must be somethign along the lines of downward gradient, or the evo guy cant drive  and it was a tight fresh engine.
-
It wouldn't surprise me at all if a S-Tronic TTRS was a good second faster 0-100 over a manual. When you factor in the launch control and 3 shifts, I think it's possible.. I think a lot is to do with the launch. Just look at the 997 Turbo, with PDK it's around 6-7/10's faster than the manual 0-60mph.. :surprised:
Check out these figures of the TTRS when tested against the 1M in the States.. :surprised:

Up to a second faster I could believe but not 2 seconds.
As I said earlier I'm not disputing it's quick. I just think "something else" is helping. Be it downward slope, undeclared software etc. Either that or as mentioned the EVO tester was tonk.

Videos and stopwatches are never acurate anyway Carl IMO. But I would expect a S-Tronic one to break into the 9's..
Looking at it again and allowing for speedo inaccuracy. I make it about 4.0 0-60 and 9.8 0-100, which I can believe tbh.. God only knows what a Stage 2+ one will do..
-
Stage 2 is not a lot beyond stage 1, at the moment.
-
I think there is a nice difference between stage 1 to stage 2 from the comparison runs ive had
