Title: Can you swap the OEM USB Port for the OEM IPOD Docker ?

I have the OEM USB Port in my car but want to use an ipod instead. Would the easiest way to do this be to swap the OEM USB port for an OEM Ipod docker ? THis is with the MFD2 in a 56 plate car.

From what I understand the CD changer, ipod dock and usb use the same leads to the HU, its just the MDI that needs a different cable
