Title: Porka brakes
Post by: JackG on April 16, 2011, 05:57:48 pm
Guys,

I think a set of porka brakes in red would suit my ed30 like a treat! My question is....who is running a set of these brakes at the moment? Any idea of wich model they would have to be off? Any pictures?

Cheers guys

Jack

Muckipup on here is running a set of Porker fronts (from a Boxster S iirc)

Main advantage over something like R32/S3 kit is the weight. He put a pic on here holding the caliper with just his little finger. Plus they can use your existing discs.

Do a search for daveB's not quite so big brake kit.

So from what I can see the ones of a boxter (4 pots) are not really a BBK as such.......but a good 1 step upgrade, i just like the look of them! They look really good in red, is there 6 pots for porkas about wich discs that are bigger than 30mm thick?

Discs I run are 350*32  :happy2: but my set up will not run under pescaras unless you run spacers.
