Hey guys,
Pretty new to this forum, posted on the Greetings board a week back, only had the car a week :) absolutley loving it!!

Bought a few little extra's, nothing major, infact the first mod will be quite funny - will post pics.
Planning on buying these alloys, what does everyone think?

Welcome to the forum. :happy2: looks tres cool. it is difficult putting a price on 17 in monza's they dont really sell because everyone goes the other way like yourself and gets the 18in version. If the tyres are good you might get 2-300 for them, but they might take a while to sell. :happy2:

first proper mod....woohooo! got my rear bumper and side skirts colour coordinated, really happy with the result, cost me 320 + vat which isnt too bad i guess, but got it done at a very reputable garage!
really wanna get 18" monza 2's now but just dont know where to get them from? would anyone here consider getting reps? Also have thought about tints but noone seems to have had it done after market, well not many people?!

Nice car, parked a bit close to that kerb though!!! :signLOL: :mind your wheels! (I normally end up having to take a taxi from the car to the kerb)

Nice car and first Mod. Bought my first GTi last week and I will post soon. It's the diamond black pear with the monza 2's. Definatly worth the upgrade. Watching with interest.

Hey all, been a little while, still loving the golf - been on here loads, asking a lot of question and in turn receiving a lot of answers, so thanks to everyone.ys
Most recent upgrade has been the Monza's 18" ..... some of you may know, had a bit of a nightmare with them, got sent 3 gens and 1 rep which was not what i was promised, no one buy from this guy "Paul Mclaughlin, N. Ireland"

what does everyone think....
not sure what to do next now, thinking either stage 1 or mliltek...suggestions?

i@d go for the stage 1 remap... had mine done couple of weeks back and it has brought the car alive :jumping:
mines prob kicking out bout 240ish bhp, but need it on the rollers to confirm. i'm smiling just thinking about it...lol :grin:

yeah, i think your right, stage 1!! gonna give the car a couple more months and then give it a whole new lease of life on our 1 year anniversary.. ha
what does everyone else think? any other suggestions for upgrade?
