Title: Little PS wheel request

I want to move back into the world of split rims and looked at a set of LM reps to tie me over for a bit.

Looking at a set of 18x8 reps in black with a silver rim lip.
Could I please see an accurate shot of what they'd look like on my 3door Steel Grey GTI? I just hope 20mm springs are enough to pull them off in 18", perhaps not?  :scared:

It's not a great picture of the wheels so makes it look a bit too replica/tacky.
The wheels look a nice design however, perhaps only in 19"?...

Love the wheels Pete, whos doesn't love LM's?

But IMO mate you need to be dropped at least 35mm to pull this type of wheel off.....

yeh couldn't agree more with that statement! think they'd go really well with the motor though  :happy2:

You're both right, but unfortunately I can't manage any lower tbh. I use too many steep driveways including my own which would mean some serious scraping so I'm at threshold with it being a daily car  :ashamed:

If I ever got coilovers I'd have to spend ages finding just the right height. Would probably take me a month or so  :surprised:

I think I've got to choose wheels that suit just a mild drop for this one  :happy2: Slammed + big wheels isn't my scene based on these restrictions I'm afraid.

Part 2 would be a set of CH/VZ's with a silver rim lip, exactly like Monte's (Hope you don't mind Monte  :happy2: )
