Looking good. I have just bought the identical car, mine is a GT 1.4 TSI in Black.

So you have changed the font grill, is that a standard GT front bumper though?

since last post had the injectors changed under warranty so all is good on that front.

some dozy driver pulled out and knocked the front, so thought it was the right time to do a few bits:
fitted black gti headlights.
fitted the gti splitter (both parts, not just bodged to the gt one).
fitted the rear bumper for the gti.
Fitted Black VW emblem on the front.
Fitted an armrest, don't know how i have managed without one for this long.

And also got some eibach sportlines fitted. they have improved the looks to what i want.

next on the shopping list is a rear spoiler.

15mm spacers each side in the back and 10mm each side in the front would make a huge difference.  The offset on the classix is very high et54.

I run h&r as above on my classix and I found they made a great improvement in looks.  I found that the classix sat too far in the arches.

Your car looks really well with that drop, nice job!

What size drop did you go for on the H & R's 35mm?

small update, i was after a rear spoiler for my car, managed to get hold of a brand new votex rear spoiler. had it painted up and fitted it. makes a good little addition, maybe not as obvious compared to a gti on but hey.

Mine is the 212bhp map but made 216bhp on the rollers. They do have maps that are a little less bhp if you want less smoke.

Shark remove the insides of the standard DPF. I had the same done to mine but have recently had a Darkside Developments delete pipe fitted which I could highly recommend. Cheaper than the Milltek and better made IMO.

Awesome GT from a fellow GT owner....How much for your re-map and dpf delete? Did they delete it completely or just take the insides out?

Love what you've done so far  :happy2:

cheers, think the remap was about £600 and yes the dpf has been gutted. the egr is still on but used the smaller gasket from the seat/skoda

Car looking good som far ...

How much did RR set you back with Jody ??

think it was around £50 for 3 runs

Shark remove the insides of the standard DPF. I had the same done to mine but have recently had a Darkside Developments delete pipe fitted which I could highly recommend. Cheaper than the Milltek and better made IMO.

Ok, cool

How much was your re-map? Did any of you do turbo pipes and egr delete?

Mine was around the £500 mark but did get a good deal with them as it was at the Autosport Show a couple of years back. I have the Darkside EGR delete aswell which was mapped out at the same time. Turbo pipes are standard.
