Just about to buy my first Golf having owned a Impreza for the last six years.

I like the idea of adding GTi side skirts to it but having looked at this topic, i'm a little concerned that I would need to remove the mud flaps before I could add the skirts.

 Can anyone offer any advice?

 Thanks in advance

If you fit the GTI sideskirts then you will need to fit GTI mudguards, as they are a different fit to the standard ones I'm afraid.

				Thanks for the reply.

Would GTi Mud Flaps fit onto a standard GT?

The rears will fit I think. But the front ones are molded for the sideskirts to fit into them.

This is what I'm doing at the mo, they are different.  I've got a gt and putting on the side skirts and rear lower gti bumper.
If you need gt ones let me know.

So I wil need to bin the front mud flaps, fit the skirts then buy standard GTi front mud flaps to replace them.

I assume the GTi mud flaps are designed to work around the skirts.
