Title: London 2012 tickets you bothering?
Post by: GTIjames on April 26, 2011, 07:06:56 pm
I was quite set on heading off on holiday for a month and renting out my flat in clapham for a tidy sum in july /august next year, but after speaking with an auzzie about sydney2000 it sounds like its a should be a good crack

So long story short have you put your name down for any tickets if so what and what do you think of the booking system

Ps cut off is midnight tonight

The wife and I have tried to get tickets for the Equestrian eventing costing about £900!
The system seems to be a little vague and has been very poorley publicised but hopefully this will allow us to get the tickets!

Nope... because I strongly disagree with the ticket sales system and their cost!

Don't forget that as per Lord Coe's statement, public ticket availability for each event will only be 50 percent after the allocations to all the sponsors.

i've applied for me and the missus, its a once in a lifetime event, in reality haven't applied for a ticket more than £50 (which compared to other major sporting events and concerts isn't too bad) so will see how i get on in the lottery

alos took a punt on the £20.12 tickets for opening and closing cermony, someones got to get lucky

I 2nd that. Alot of my work is in the boroughs in and around the games and they are bad enough on a normal work day, let alone when they start shutting roads for VIP's etc.
On my 1st day back to work after xmas hols a holiday form is going in for the length of the games and I'll be doing a tour of the USA or NZ and OZ or Driving tour of Europe.
