Title: OEM led rear lights

hi guys

new on this site and new mk5 gti owner,  want to get the oem led rear lights just wondering if you have to code them in and plus where can you get them

Hi Aled, are the ones below the ones your on about?? (hope RR don't mind me borrowing the pic) if so you can get them from Germany but require modding to swap the Fog and reverse light lense around.

Confused here, did VW ever make or sell UK cars with LED rear lights? Or we these made by Valeo?

How do I search for LED rear lights in German haha!£300 isn't that cheap for rear lights in my yes. Yes they look good and the product looks good quality but hmmm!

IIRC Valeo make lights for VW and these lights where made for VW thats why these have VW part numbers and logo's. They where never made for the UK market, hence why the fog/reverse light swap has to be done, but not sure if they was an option or standard fit on LHD cars.

As for LED rear lights in german I have no idea lol, but LED golf 5 or v kicks stuff up on ebay but no valeo's on there that i can find atm

Yeah they are, just searching the bay to see if theres anywhere cheaper

Thanks for the help guys really do like these lights makes that little diffrence.

Thanks for the pic being on a red car like mine so get a better feel for what it would look like.

Going to search for them tonite when get bk from work unless any body is selling a second hand pair  :happy2:
