Good afternoon,
Just a random quick question, I have slowly started collecting the bits so I will have a full OEM xenon setup for my car. I've managed to purchase two headlamps, but they don't include the bulbs or ballasts. I just wondered if I would be able to run normal H7 bulbs in there until I get all the genuine xenon bulbs and ballasts etc?
It doesn't look like the bulb holders from my standard headlamps with fit/connect on there, the proper Xenon connections fit on there, but they are open back with no connections to the bulbs.
Any suggestions?

They wont fit and have different connectors and I believe holders for the bulbs I am also not sure how much light output you will get from them as the standard bulbs have the end blocked off to stop blinding other drivers and rely on reflection of light for the beam.

Cheers for the reply, if I was to fit a quality aftermarket HiD kit on there would that work?
The problem seems to be finding where to connect the wires as there are no connections!

As Rich has said, the xenons have to be used with D2S bulbs and ballasts else they will not work - unfortunate, but thats the way it is with these.
Youll need genuine ballasts, though you can source the D2S bulbs from other places, be sure to get good quality such as GE, Osram or Philips

Ah right, that's a bit of a pain, defo can't use until I have all the bits then!
Thanks for the help.
