Hello everyone
I have just purchased an 06 GTI and would like to say thanks to all the information that I got from this site, it was very useful.
The car is excellent and it manages to bring a smile to my face every time I drive it, more so as I came from a 1.25 fiesta.
The one thing that needs doing is the wheels unfortunately. I have had a look around the site and it seems that lepsons are the way to go as I live in Kent (A1 is a bit far away) or are there any other places that I should consider.
Thanks again
Jamie

I know that feeling! I came from a mk4 1.25-zetec. Nippy around town but struggled at motorway overtaking.
I found it very easy to go fast without realising because the noise insulation was so good!

Yeah the ease with which you can get up to 80 is far too easy stealthwolf.
:happy2:
Was a little sad to see the fiesta go though when I sold it as it was my first car. Just as well I have the golf.

My lil sis has my old fiesta. The paintwork was good when I gave it to her. She's sporting lots of scratches on the front bumper.

Oh dear not good, I sold mine to a mate so will have to see how he treats it.
What gti do you have?
