Title: One tyre or a pair!
Post by: phil197 on May 01, 2011, 09:40:20 am

Hi,

The previous owner of my gti must of had a puncture and replaced the front tyre...Its now worn and due for replacement, leaving the other tyre with 5mm tread, should i splash out for a pair making them even or have just one leaving  the same problem in 6 months time..

Always a pair mate, keep them even across the axle, put new tyres on the rear and bring old to the front. I think thats the general consenses :happy2:

Pairs always. I was suprised how much people pay for worn tyres on flebay . I have sold quite a few on there since and always been happy with the sale price
