Title: Golf 170tdi turbo onto a 140 gttdi

 will the turbo of a vw golf mk5 170tdi turbo fit onto a gttdl mk5 140--thinking of going down this route

Well, anything possible but its not a straight fit Andy. A hybrid is a much better option.

I looked into this for our Touran 140 and its not straight forward.

I can't remember why when I asked on the Seat forum, no idea why there, but its more than just a turbo.

I think the engines have different injectors amongst other things.

Turbo and manifold then? Im sure you can get it to fit, its just whether its worth it.
