Title: CAN Upgrade

Hi

Looking into updating CAN in my 05 plate with "F" CAN

Would this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180572923211&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT work with the lastest RNS510 LED ?

Is this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170601532805&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT not as good in some way ?

the one in the first link is a newer version than the second, AD v AA, either version will work fine with a C version RNS

Thanks, do you think it is worth getting the newer one ? Do you know what version they are upto ?

Newer ones are worth it if your going to retrofit other bits and pieces, i've got an AD in mine, and its given a masssive list of options some of which are obviously for other models of car.

what i can say from my experience however is that the can bus controller is a PITA to get to!

Thanks , what year is your car ? Where was it located ? Mine is a 05 tdi and think I saw it behind ash tray when I fitted tyre pressure monitor.

Yes, mine is there too, but they put them high up in the drivers footwell and near the bulkhead.
