Title: Service question

Hi all , when the car needs servicing is there an indicator light that comes on or do I just have it done every year or every 12,000 miles?

Also I am having a revo remap tomorrow. After this is it preferable to get the car serviced at JKM for instance or back to main dealers? Does it matter ?

I have seen on the dash screen that it tells you when you need a service, mine came up just the other week saying 2000 miles until service. (though it was at 12 months since my last one) so something should alert you to it, don't think it's something as simple as the older VW's like a light or anything.

It counts down in miles and then goes into days and then the day you go past the anniversary it tells you"Service Now" every time you turn it on !
