Title: Car Selling Advise
Post by: searly on May 03, 2011, 10:22:16 pm
My company business miles will soon start increasing rapidly  ,  So looking to sell ED30 and purchasing a diesel  as I do not want to put high mileage on her or live with the fuel costs

Questions are

1 ,  I have recently had a Revo stage 1 and a Revo DSG stage 1 ,  Do I mention this or is it best to leave it out
2 ,  I have a RNS510 with Fiscon Basic + Hands free fitted .  Do I put the 6 CD changer back in ( would prefer to leave it in )
3 ,  Have new alloys and tyres put on the car 4 months ago, do i keep them on and sell the originals with good tyres after.

I would revert the car to revo stock setting using a sps switch.
Put the 6 CD changer back in.
Put the original rims back on.

The more stock-like your car looks the wider your potential buying audience plus you can sell the aftermarket stuff seperately to recoup some extra cash.

As above.

If you want to leave it as it is, you're better off selling it online via the likes of pistonheads and this forum. But it limits your audience.

Most people want an unmodded car. Even those who plan to mod it anyway would prefer an unmolested vehicle. But there are some who will happily buy your car as it is and use it as a starting base.

Either way, you can sell off the remaining parts.
