Title: what engine in a TT
Post by: gti265 on May 04, 2011, 11:54:00 pm
im selling my car to get a audi tt

but i was thinking:

i realy want the 1.8T sport with 240 bhp

but i hadnt realy thought about the 2.0tfsi with 211bhp, which i gess is the same engine i have in the gti atm - with more BHP

which engine would you all say would be better one for modding and to for everyday driving - e.g. fuel consuption, power delivery, driving around town at slow speeds etc etc

thanks
tom

Thing to consider is the 2.0 lump is only available in the MK2 TT so these will probs be a bit more to buy than a MK1.

Both very tunable though, but would say the TFSI would be more economical.  MK1 TT Sport for me all day long!  :happy2:

MK1 TT sport is appreciating in value, the 2.0T although in some ways a better car is the runt of the litter and 2WD.

You know what to do....

I'd be tempted by a MKII V6
