I've just bought some cheap 16" Audi alloys to use with winter tyres. As they're 300 miles away I want to arrange a courier. I've never had to do anything like this so any suggestions of who to use would be greatly appreciated :happy2:
Thanks

This is where you need a friend who is a National Express coach driver who can find space underneath the bus for your new wheels......I would have thought a courier would be quite expensive your best bet is to ring around removal companies and see if they have some space which your wheels could fit in for a small fee. Its tedious work calling around but you will save some dosh, good luck!

Sure i saw a wheel courier on ebay... might be worth a look.

Thats not a bad shout. If the cost was a lot more I'd be ringing around already :happy2:

Do they have tyres? If not try 4 separate parcels on www.interparcel.com I did that with my 182 wheels (16's) that had tyres and it was about £34

Paisley Freight will move alloy wheels at quite a reasonable price

+1 for Paisley Freight. They'll ship four alloys w. tyres up to 17" for £27.99 anywhere in the mainland UK.

There is a website where you put up what, where and where to and the companies bid on it.
Its good as some companies might be going to the place and will do you a good deal because of that.

Thanks guys. I've chosen Paisley Freight as for £27.99 they'll collect tomorrow! Very impressed with the price. Puts the total cost for the wheels at £93. Just have to get some tyres before next winter and I'll be well away
And for anyone who's interested these are what the wheels look like. Prefer my RS4 reps but for the price they'll do. Steel wheels seemed to be going for more!
