Title: led sidelights
Post by: jackarooney on May 05, 2011, 06:56:58 pm: hi guys i bought these led sidelights http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120708080990&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

got them today just fitted them and they work :) for about 10 secs then the passenger side one goes off :(

ive tried swapping the bulbs around to see if its the bulb but still the passenger side one goes off after a few seconds!

is this because the car thinks the bulb has blown due it using so little power??

even tho on ebay they state the get around that!!

Yup send them back as it states that they are CANBUS error free.

Post by: Paul on May 05, 2011, 08:20:16 pm: I got some that were suppost to be canbus free, but still got blown error and bulbs didnt work. The company on Ebay were really good and sent me about 4 different types that were suppost to work, but i couldnt get any to even light up just got error all the time with no light.

Nice, are they easy to fit?

fit one side at a time and if that one doesn’t work turn it around as the contacts need to go + to + and – to -. :happy2:
