Title: rear passenger side squeaking
Post by: mygti on May 06, 2011, 10:54:50 am
Hi all

Just a quick question

I have noticed that my rear passenger side by the wheel was squeaking   when I closed the boot. The noise is only noticeable when stationary

So I took a trip down to my closest VW dealer while under warranty to see what it was, first they said it was the handbrake needed tightening, anyway 2 days later started again so went back they said this time it was the caliper so replaced it. Well my warranty has now run out 3 weeks ago since the work was done and was just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue.

The noise has now started on the other side to

Any help would be great.

I've had some mysterious caliper squeaking (and louder) recently - no clue what it is though  :sad1:
