Title: Hello from a GT TDI owner (Scotland)

Hi all, just picked up a 54 plate GT TDI 140 at the beginning of May. Moved to this from a Mk4 GT TDI 130 and can say the Mk5 is a massive step up in VW's books. Pretty pleased with it at the min. No stranger to a bit modding/tinkering and have been stalking all the usual forums for a couple of years - UK-Mkiv's, Edition38, Votex, Mk5GolfGti, etc.

Specs as follows, pics to come soon.

78k miles
5 doors
Steel Grey i think? Will put up pics and you can correct me later. Actually Sage Green so I've found out.
Armrest and 6-disc changer
Cruise Control (just got it fitted at the weekend)
Auto wipers and lights
RCD300 (i think)
All the usual GT TDI bells and whistles.

I'm hoping to put the later GT/GTI front bumper and GTI rear with appropriate exhaust (milltek/custom). Swiftly followed by a wee remap courtesy off Star Performance.  :happy2:

Forgot to say I'm from Edinburgh.  :smiley: Any othre fellow Scots? Local or not so. I Know ppl in Dundee, Aberdeen, Peterhead and Glasgow so chances are I may see you about.

Also forgot to add I'm looking to replace the tiny alloys. Got a few wheels in mind:
-VW's Classixs (newer Golf GT's standards)
-VW's Vancouver's (off Mk6 Golf)
-BBS CH's
-VW's Interlagos (Scirroco/Passat CC)
