Title: Someone please tell me my shopping list will be ok

i guys.

after putting the new 18's on, its time to get lower and wider. the tyres ive got atm are 225/45/18
 
just need someone to tell me this stuff will not be a waste and will all fit

i think i read somwhere that the "pro kit is better" so:

Also does anyone know what is the lenth of the normal bolts and what lenth will i need when the spacers are on?

Normal bolts are 28mm, so that plus whatever size your spacers are.

Are you sure the profile of hose tyres is correct?

your right! :ashamed: their 225/40/18. its on standard suspention atm. im trying to find some pics of golfs with the setup.

ukmk is dry, didnt get nothing!

To be honest I think you would be better off sorting suspension then doing the spacers as you will het a better idea of what size would work best.
Think you need to post the offset of the wheels to figure out the best bolts to use as you have not said if your new wheels are thicker on the bolt holes than your current ones n

thanks for the reply. where i bought them, it stated:
Item specifics
Metal Type:  Aluminium Offset:  45
Rim Width:  8.5J Stud Diameter:  112
Rim Diameter:  18 Number of Studs:  5
Rim Structure:  One Piece Condition:  New

but someone said they look very much like 8J. I am very confused. will the springs be ok withouT the spacers for a while?
