Title: can anyone interpret these alignment settings?

Hi will try scan and post actual print out later but for now -

Left Front - 

-1.47 camber
8.36 caster
0.05 toe

Right front - -1.33 camber
8.23 caster
0.05 toe

left rear -1.44 and -1.42 camber
0.05 and 0.06 toe
thrust angle -0.01

well whether it is set up well, would you be happy with these settings? I dont understand about the geometry aspect at all so it is just gibberish to me.

Unless someone here knows the correct tolerances for a golf it would prob be easier to scan the printout. I'm not sure what the corrects ones are. Does your printout show them being green?..

Assuming it's a Mk 5 GTI, then Front Camber is OUT of specification. Front Caster is OUT of spec on the left, and only just IN on the right. The Front Toe, however, is safely within spec. The Rear looks all to be within spec.  The 'Toe' is generally the 'killer' parameter for uneven tyre wear, so yours looks OK.  However, it would be worth a visit to a reliable tyre/alignment outlet to get the front Camber and Caster adjusted back into specification.

If you are happy (I'm not) with stock GTi suspension then set up to factory settings. If not you can tweak and go out of 'spec'
