Hi all,
This subject will have been done many times I guess, but looking for peoples experiences on the various ways to do this.
I had one on order from Eurowagons but they have now come back and said they are unable to supply so looking for alternate places to buy, I am after the whole badge, not just a stick on cover. Has anyone got any good examples of one they have bought? I had one on my Mk 3 GTi bought from a main dealer. This is the preferred method.
Has anyone tried painting them themselves? What paints have you found that worked best and what didnt, was there a particular technique that worked well?
Has anyone tried wrapping theirs (I know of 1 ED30 owner who has) and if so, what sort of result did you get? What wrap did you get etc (here from).
Am looking to get this sorted sooner rather than later on my car.
Cheers all.

I used avery matt black wrap on mine and it still looks good after 15000 miles. I sprayed the front badge on my last car and it chipped within a few months!

Same here, painted it numerous times and it just chipped over and over again. in the end I bought some carbon fiber vinyl and covered it my self. Looks mint I think and has been on for a good 10K+. If you take the time to cover it correctly it'll last ages and if I remember correctly I have some vinyl left over. If you wanna buy a square for a fiver or something I'll post it out.
