Hi,
Im halfway to removing my rear lower bumper but i just cant get it off!! Its only the lower 'plastic' section.
Ive removed all screws but it just wont 'unclip'!!!!
Is there a knack to getting it off?? Really dont want to chip the paintwork off the upper bumper so am worried about pulling it off!!!
Any replies appreciated......its getting dark!! :happy2:

Have you taken the screws from underneath as well? If so then you just Pull with all your strength from one side to the other. Good luck.

Yer i've taken them off the underside and from the wheel arches!! Yanking the only way then?!!!! :surprised:

If you wanted to you could remove the top bumper as well and push the tabs down. I can't get to it right now but there is a YouTube video of how to remove it.

Found it:

Start off with using a flat blade screw driver and a quick spray of WD40 over the tabs and push them out and pull, easy peasey.

Cheers guys......got it off!! No damage to paintwork. The two large bolts had rusted so had to cut them off. So just need to replace those now!!
Thanks

hi, I did this a while back, got it off eventually, I colour coded mine and re-fitting was impossible unless you remove the top section of the bumper and assemble both parts off the car and then re-fit, removing the top section is quite easy.
