Title: Would you pick a new car up on Friday 13th
Post by: nc35 on May 11, 2011, 09:13:13 pm: Just wondering would you collect a new car on Friday 13th.

My new Mk6 is ready this Friday and don't think I can wait until Saturday morning.

But my wife has just reminded me her dad died on Friday 13th and she knocked her teeth out too so probably a good job we did!

Thanks mate much appreciated, although life was different six years ago, no kids sunning it all inclusive in Barbados!

He lives about 400m from the dealer. I rode it around the area i was brought up in and when stationary at the junction nearby was hit by a bus ! the bike had 13 miles on the clock !

Think I am going to limp it home (aka Risky Business film :laugh:) then go out and enjoy on Saturday.... Trip to Whitby already looking fav :happy2:

Oops - the Risky Business film really shows my age 1983 when Tom Cruise looked young.... God I feel old now
