As above can anyone help, got a new key and the blade cut but need it re-programming.
-
I think this is pretty specialised so you vw dealer or somewhere like shark performance.
-
as bacillus has said, youll have to go to a dealer, or somewhere that can read the SKC off the clocks so they can pair the immobiliser to the key
www.hickleys.co.uk can also do it by cloning your existing key
-
Had mine done at VW and they charged me half hours labor... they told me to take all keys for the car

Hi there I'm a newbie
I'm a auto locksmith and I can do this procedure
If you go onto the advanced-diagnostic web site you can find a local auto locksmith in your area who can come out to you and program your keys
-
Cheers J13YME i will have a look now.

Hi jaywoo
Did you get this sorted?
I've also noticed that your in the midlands my workshop is in Coventry if that's any good to you?
Also where did you get your key from because I get them a lot when people buy them from eBay and the transponder is locked so then they need a new transponder so just to let you know
Cheers

Not got its sorted yet mate,
Yeah i got mine off ebay ages ago and got a new blade cut thinkin the fob could be programmed at home, :sad1:
How much is a new transponder?
-
www.hickleys.co.uk sell them
Under a fiver
-
Yeh you can them from hickleys or depends on the locksmith and what equipment he has they might be able to unlock the transponder
Locksmiths will probably charge about £20 for the transponder
