An anyone answer me this.
Currently have 18" monzas 7.5j with offset of 51. I am looking at a set of wheels same size and width but the offset is 45.
Now will this mean the new alloys will poke out more or stick in a little bit.
If any one can help, please reply.
Cheers

The offset is negative offset, ET45's will move the wheel out by 6mm. if the rim is wider than 7.5 then this will be added to the inside and outside. so an 8x18 ET45 will increase inside and outside by 6mm, then moved across by 6mm. So the inside will be the same as stock, the outside will be 12mm further our (6+6)
I hope this helps

I thought it was a positive et. I thought it would move the wheel inwards.

look at this at the end of the page... (http://www.sporting-reliants.com/wheel_guide.htm) ...maybe this help you...good luck :)

The lower the ET, the more they'll stick out. ET45 on a 7.5x18 rim will not stick out of the arch or catch with a 225/40 tyre.
