ok some "in focus pictures now fitted.
i have to say these make the paddles soooo much fun to drive with. they are chunky enough to feel proppa!!
and the actual touch to change up or down is sensitive that it still only needs a nudge!
i personally like the brushed ali look. i think its quite oem and goes with the trim inside the car.
highly recommended and almost half the price of some of the alternative options.

I love the looks of these too. Wonder if I am able to justify a set of these with my Missus, i have only just got a set of carbon fibre ones which I love, but these look soooooo cooooooool.

These look nice but the CF ones look better so I wouldnt worry :happy2:
-
Theres never a need to justify with the Mrs :signLOL:
I think these look more OEM if im honest (and i like the OEM look)
-
i just like that they blend with car interior yet stand out in their own right :innocent:

.
I notice that there's very little paddle on the lower extensions - I know that the uppers are most frequently used but do those lower parts work okay?
What's the black material? Rubber or plastic?
Paddle extensions make a huge difference don't they :happy2:
-
hi RR
yes the lowers do work the shift nicely enough!
but i hardly ever use that part if i,m honest.....but yep paddle shift is so much more enjoyable to use and i used to fairly lazy, now i find i,m manually shifting so much more hahaha
and they are sturdy plastic!-very tactile to use!!

Thats one thing i have wondered about. When corning one of your hands is often on the 7 or 4 o'clock position. :popcornsoda:

I drive 24/7 in manual mode using paddles.
Except in traffic jams when my arthritic legs get a rest.... :popcornsoda:

....I try to avoid changing gear while in a corner but have never had a problem with paddle extensions. Your brain soon automatically programs where to place your fingers. *Cough* Hey, Imogen, come over here.
-
Might be a blonde moment but..... Do these just fit over the existing paddles or do you have to take the OEM ones off cheers in advance
-
fit right on top with supplied shaped 3M tape buddy :happy2:

Cheers matsu undecided about these or the carbon ones what Ian linked to
-
Look nice. Though think that they would look better if there was more chrome on the steering wheel like on the MK6 multi function ones. :happy2:
