Hi all,
Looking for a good (& value for money) specialist who knows the GTI, fairly near me (Swindon), any recomendations peeps?
I've got a few goodies that need fitting that I don't have the space/tools/knowledge to do myself:
Porka Brakes, Front/Rear ARB's, WALK, Forge DV, service and a few other bits.

Streetwise-automotive in Bristol get decent reviews on the other VAG forums. Google streetwise automotive and it gives a few reviews.

Go upwards to APS. Just the other side of Oxford, so probably less than an hour from Swindon. I would go there and I'm the other end of Wilts from you.

I can recommend Turner Race Developments in stroud, used them for all the work on my ED30, first class............Rich.

Try the Audi VW centre, they are indi specialists and have won numerous awards fromAudi VW driver magazine for there quality service.I have had my Audi's and now my MK5 Gti serviced by them for the past 5/6 years.
They are are based at Bromham and also have their main service centre on the Bowerhill Ind est in Melksham, so only 25 mins from Swindon.Dont confuse them with the Audi/VW cars also in Melksham(they are mainly a car sales outlet and dont have the same servicing reputation as the other garage.
