that error might have occured from before the adapter was in place. what happens if you clear it?

Did you replace the gateway?

when i clear it they just come back on, cleared them numerous amounts of times now

i don't believe so, litrally just retrofitted nav and gps aerial, its a b version so i didnt get the battery drain

Did you code in 37 - Navigation and check the Long Coding on the RNS to check it wasnt previously coded

I have the:

01299 - Diagnostic Interface for Data Bus (J533)
            004 - No Signal/Communication
             Freeze Frame:
                    Fault Status: 01100000
                    Fault Priority: 5
                    Fault Frequency: 1
                    Reset counter: 121
                    Mileage: 47667 km
                    Time Indication: 0
                    Date: 2000.00.00
                    Time: 22:38:13

Had it and some other eroor codes present since installing my RNS not been able to solve them but everything is working so I have ignored them, I am also running an old can gateway with modified firmware so I have put some of this down to that.

Modified software can cause errors - It caused a CAN error on the RNS until I reflashed it up to 3970 when it went away

I had errors with RNS and my old gateway, if fitting a new gateway errors will most probably dissappear.
