Anyone got one of these? Just looking at it now -

I like things to look OEM so this looks pretty nice, claims to produce up to an extra 11bhp, which probably means 2-3 if that, anyone using one? Opinions? Reviews?
Cheers chaps!

Not heard or seen one of these fitted to a gti, and to be honest not quite sure how it would fit? would love to see pics?

Interesting

I think it just fits into the hole on the right hand side of the normal engine cover and you're supposed to remove the OEM Air filter.
Probably not worth it if that's the case.
Proven CAI are EVOMS, ITG or Forge Twintake.

For the 2.0 FSi...

Doesn't fit the GTI:
VW Golf Mk5 2.0 FSi 2003 > 07
or am I reading the site wrong?
-
You are correct.
I have this CAI and it is only for 2.0 FSI, 1.4 TFSI, 1.2 TFSI, 1.6 FSI and 1.6 MPI.
The power gains are minimal but the mid range boost is 0.2 bar :surprised: bigger then without. On the dyno I could not maintain the same boost as on street and maybe that is why I did not gain any bhp.
