Title: Rear wiper/washer failure.
Post by: swgti on May 23, 2011, 11:40:14 am
Done a quick search so sorry if this has been done a million times but I could only find stuff about the wiper going haywire, problem I've got is that it won't go at all, neither will the washer. I was wondering if it's the age old issue with the washer pipe coming off (had this on our Leon Cupra) but there's not even a buzz from the washer motor the whole thing is just dead. Front washers working fine and there's no leaks that I can see as yet. Are the washer and wiper both on the same fuse?

Any ideas?

about the fuse - if you look in your handbook it tells you whats connected to what fuses, then you can pull it out and check it :)

You might have nailed it there, had the dog cage in at the time and it's a very tight fit so I'll check that later - cheers.

had the same issue with my 2005 golf. with mine the boot light failed as well. Turned out to be broken wire in tailgate. Skoda dealer fixed it for about £100 i think.
