Right here's the situation...
When enquiring about a car on the internet from a VW Main Dealer, I was told it was a "1 owner car"...
Once I received the new V5 it shows 2 previous owners...
Car has 1 more owner than I was led to believe...
Your opinions/comments please guys.
Cheers,
Dom

Might be one private owner plus the dealer. Worth giving them a ring to find out.

Not an import is it? I bought a car from car supermarket knowing it was an import but they had to register it to them selves prior to sale probably for some VAT loop hole or something dodgy an accountant was doing. is missdescriptions worth taking it up with them.

When you sell a car to a dealer that doesnt count as an owner as you fill in a different section on the V5

Have written to them to find out, will also be contacting the previous owner...
Had a limited edition Type R once(which i hated so sold in two weeks) but because it was limited the delaership bought it and pre registered it to get hold of it for a customer, and it turned up in all the protective wrapping for the previous owner to see, so wondering if it that again.

:ashamed:
My bad!

A car data check for £15 would have told you all you needed to know about the car's history before you bought it. Sorry if I sound like your Mum.

Beddie told me the other week when he was on the search for an ED30 he looked at one advertised as 1 owner, when infact it had something like 4 or 5 in a really short space of time :fighting:
Some dealers will register it to themselves therefore it has a further owner.

This is a Main VW dealer as an approved used car so you get a full history data check. The words on the email say that it's just come in a 1 owner car and immaculate...
You would expect them to tell the facts about a car... have brought it to the attention of VW and the dealer principle anyway...
